A New Season…...

The new fixture list is out and a new rowing season has begun. It started with the World Championships in Scilly. Two men's crews and one women's crew took part, all acquitting themselves admirably, despite some poor weather (damn NE winds!) hindering training for the weeks leading up to the event. All the feedback seemed positive and a lot was learned over the course of the weekend.
Club racing has begun and novice training nights kicked off with a very well attended evening. The Club is looking forward to taking delivery of their new gig "Hope" around June…. Hopefully in time for the visiting crews event held that month.
